Walk on May 20, 2011: 25 cups, including an iced coffee or two and a couple of double cups. With today's total, that's 209 discarded cups since April 3rd, 2011.

It was a warm sunny day and having another project to shoot at the same time, I paced myself and ended up walking for about 90 minutes. Total number for today was 12, with two being double cupped. One was for an iced coffee and is plastic. I imagine now it is finally nice out again, I will see quite a few of those.

Images from an hour long walk on May 12th, 2011. Total for today was 12 cups. One was double cupped. Having not shot any of these for about two weeks up to this point, I think that some of the street cleaning crews had a chance to remove the winter debris and there are now less cups to be found.

There are, however, certainly new cups. The Camp Day ones only came out that week I think.

April 14 - 27, 2011

Rain and a battery in my point and shoot Olympus that seem to be dead even after a night's charge, kept me from shooting too many of these in the latter half of April. But here is a collection of 17 - some double cupped, shot over the period of April 14 to April 27, 2011. I know I easily saw twice that, but as the saying goes, ' no photos and it didn't happen. '
